A room full of guests does not always turn into easy conversation. People often stay close to the friends or relatives they already know, especially during the first few minutes of a party.
This printable Find the Guest game gives everyone a simple reason to move around, introduce themselves, and discover fun facts about one another.
Choose a relaxed icebreaker, a competitive bingo round, or a quick timed activity. The event-neutral prompts work for showers, birthdays, reunions, school celebrations, work parties, and community events.

Overview
Find the Guest is a social scavenger hunt built around conversation.
Players receive descriptions such as โhas a pet,โ โenjoys puzzles,โ or โcan recommend a book,โ then mingle and write a matching guestโs name beside each prompt.
The prompts provide natural opening lines, so guests do not have to invent conversation topics. Even people who already know one another may discover a new hobby, skill, travel story, or preference.
Whatโs Included
The first page is a classic 16-prompt mingle sheet with a full-width name line below every description. It gives players comfortable writing room and supports a relaxed pace.
Pages two and three contain different four-by-four bingo boards. Players try to complete four squares across, down, or diagonally. Each guest may sign only one square on a playerโs board, which encourages players to speak with more people.
Page four is a 12-prompt Quick Round. Set a timer for five to ten minutes and award one point for every completed match. A tie-breaker line asks players to share something they learned about another guest.
Page five is a customizable version with 10 blank prompt rows. Hosts can add event-specific hobbies, experiences, favorite foods, or playful skills.
The final page includes printing instructions, hosting options, accessibility ideas, tie-breakers, and the personal-use terms.
How to Play Find the Guest
Print one copy of your selected game page for each player and place pens nearby. Explain the goal before play begins.
For the classic and Quick Round versions, guests write one matching name beside each prompt. Encourage them to use a different person for every answer when possible.
For bingo, the first player to complete four squares in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line wins. For a timed round, call time after five to ten minutes and count completed matches. You can also skip competition completely and let the sheet serve as an informal arrival activity.
Decide your tie-breaker before the game begins if you plan to award a prize. You might recognize the person with the most different names, the most unusual match, or the best new fact learned.
Printing Tips
Download the PDF and open it in a standard PDF reader. Select US Letter paper and print at Actual Size or 100% scale.
Regular copy paper works well for one-time use. Cardstock is optional if you want sturdier sheets.
You do not need to print the entire packet. Choose the version that best fits your event, then print one copy of that page per player. Print the host guide once for your own reference.
