How to Play 9 x 9 Sudoku
Fill each empty cell with a number from 1 through 9.
Every number must appear once in each row, column, and outlined 3 x 3 box. Begin with areas that are nearly complete, and use small pencil notes when a placement is uncertain.
Sudoku does not require arithmetic. Success comes from spotting patterns and eliminating impossible choices. If you become stuck, move to another section and look for a number with only one valid location.
Printing Tips
For the clearest result, open the PDF in a PDF reader and select US Letter, portrait orientation, and Actual Size or 100% scale. Avoid Fit to Page unless your printer clips the edges. All content stays inside standard safe margins.
Print pages 1 through 3 for puzzles only. Add pages 4 through 6 for solutions, and print page 7 when you need the rules or use terms. Regular white printer paper is ideal, and grayscale printing preserves the intended line contrast.
