How Does 6×6 Sudoku Work?
A 6×6 Sudoku is a smaller variation of the familiar number-placement puzzle.
Instead of a 9×9 grid and the numbers 1 through 9, each puzzle uses a 6×6 grid and the numbers 1 through 6.
The goal is to fill every blank square so each horizontal row contains 1 through 6 exactly once. Every vertical column must also contain those six numbers once.
Finally, each heavily outlined 2×3 box must include every number from 1 through 6 without repetition.
No arithmetic is required. The numbers function as symbols, and each answer comes from observation and elimination.
That makes mini Sudoku useful for practicing careful scanning, concentration, and logical thinking without turning the activity into a math worksheet.
