Whatโs Included in the Pattern Set
The first four pages each provide a complete, full-size template rather than a small preview.
Every page includes the pattern title, approximate finished dimensions, a one-inch scale square, and a legend that separates heavy outside lines from thinner interior cuts.
Dotted circles with centered crosses show suggested starter-hole locations. They are suggestions rather than drill specifications, so choose a bit that fits your blade and project.
Mountain & Pine Plaque
The Mountain & Pine Plaque uses a large rounded rectangle as the finished outside shape.
Inside the plaque, the sun, mountain range, and five pine trees appear as separate closed openings.
This arrangement gives you straight sections, angled peaks, rounded corners, and several narrow turns without allowing the cut lines to overlap.
The finished panel can be displayed as simple fretwork, placed over a contrasting backer, or adapted as a decorative wall plaque.
Botanical Trivet Pattern
The Botanical Trivet page centers eight leaf openings around a circular middle cutout.
Eight small diamonds fill the spaces near the outside edge, creating a repeated design inside the 7.2-inch circle.
Use the scale square before preparing the pattern so the circle prints at the intended size.
Because a trivet may encounter heat, choose wood and finish rated for the way you plan to use the finished piece. The printable does not specify material thickness or finish.
Songbird on a Branch
The Songbird on a Branch is a single continuous outside silhouette with a flowing branch beneath the bird.
Two interior details create the rounded head opening and curved wing, while a small optional starter-hole mark near the top can be used when adding hanging hardware.
This page works well when you want one larger outline instead of repeated fretwork openings.
The smooth body curves, narrow beak, tail transition, and branch ends provide several different line changes within one connected piece.
Modern Ornament Patterns
The Modern Ornament Set contains large tree, star, and bell outlines.
Four smaller stars and diamonds appear below them, giving you options for gift tags, garlands, hanging decorations, or short practice cuts.
Each design has its own outside path and enough white space around it for trimming the paper before attaching it to wood.
Suggested hanging-hole positions are marked inside the patterns, but you can omit or reposition them to suit your hardware.
How to Prepare These Printable Patterns
Print the PDF in portrait orientation at 100% or Actual Size. Measure the one-inch square with a ruler before attaching a pattern to your material.
If the square is not exactly one inch, check that your printer is not using Fit, Shrink, or another automatic scaling option.
Mark the outside paths, interior cutouts, and starter holes before cutting. Practice the smallest opening and tightest turn on scrap from the same material.
This lets you confirm the blade, speed, and printed scale without risking the final workpiece.
Read the manual for your exact scroll saw before starting. Wear eye and appropriate dust protection, keep guards in place, secure the saw and workpiece, and disconnect power before changing or adjusting a blade.
Do not cut a piece that is too small to hold safely.
