Included in This Halloween Tags Printable
This three-page PDF includes two tag sheets followed by a Personal Use and Printing Notes page. There are 16 tags in three practical formats, so you can choose a bold greeting, add a handwritten note, or label a gift for a specific recipient.
The first page features four large rectangular greeting tags: Happy Halloween, Spooky Wishes, Trick or Treat, and Boo!
Each design has a different illustrated border filled with pumpkins, candy, ghosts, skulls, bats, or other seasonal details. These tags work well when the greeting should be easy to notice.
The top half of the second page contains eight slim labels arranged in two columns. Four illustrated styles are repeated twice, with a pumpkin, costumed character, wizard pumpkin, or small ghost beside a long blank line. Use the space for a recipient’s name, short message, or treat label.
The lower half includes four larger Happy Halloween tags with To and From lines. A pumpkin, witch-hat cat, friendly ghost, or bat decorates each version. Dashed outlines help you separate the tags after printing, and the writing lines leave room for clear names.
The final page explains the personal-use license, print settings, paper choices, and cutting safety, keeping the basic preparation information with the printable.
Ways to Use the Printable Tags
Attach a large greeting tag to a boo basket, wrapped box, handled gift bag, or container of individually wrapped treats. The bright artwork makes a plain package feel festive, so simple wrapping is all you need.
The slim labels provide space for a child’s name, teacher’s name, table assignment, or brief note. They can also identify treat choices at a party. The wide blank area works with a marker or small sticker without covering the illustration.
Use the To and From tags for classroom exchanges, neighbor gifts, host thank-yous, or treats for friends and family. The four character options vary the look while keeping the same message and layout across several gifts.
Printing and Preparing the Tags
Print on US Letter paper in portrait orientation and choose Actual Size or 100%. Cardstock gives the tags a sturdier feel and works best for pieces that will hang from ribbon or string. Regular printer paper is suitable for tags taped flat to a bag or box.
Cut around each rectangular tag with scissors or a paper cutter. Follow the dashed outside lines on the four To and From designs. Trim the large greeting tags and slim labels along their visible edges, then write names and messages while each piece is still flat.
Secure the finished tags with double-sided tape, a glue dot, a small clothespin, or ribbon. If children are helping, provide age-appropriate tools and adult supervision for scissors and other cutting supplies.
